Drugs and Crime Funding Pays For What Survey?
The planned survey of making our public servants work better is of interest.
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is assisting our PSC with the survey.
Drugs and Crime! What has that got to do with motivating our public servants to do a better service?
Looked up the UN agency and the work they do and Google had this to say.
“(UNODC) is a United Nations agency whose purpose is to lead the international fight against illicit drugs and international crime, in addition to being responsible for implementing the United Nations lead program on terrorism.”
Terrorism!! Is that a problem in our public service?
Whom is terrorizing whom?
Maybe that’s a question this survey should put to the CEOs especially those forced out of a contract.
“…..is that political terrorism, dear?
Eat Not From Wrong Budget
The afternoon ‘to’ana’i should feel a little extra special this Sunday for all who pocketed SNPF dividends before the weekend.
Why not? It’s your own money going into your own pocket.
You can treat your family to a Sunday feast and it’s a good feeling to see your loved ones enjoy their food.
What if the money was your family’s share of the $1m tala Govt. handouts?
Ummm…if you and your family ate your share of the free money, better not be a person with a strong guilty conscience..
You’re supposed to invest the money in a project to earn money and stimulate the national economy – not eat it.
Pay for the project first and once you make your money then treat the family to a Sunday afternoon ‘toana’i.’
Don’t ask how long that will take. Just do it!
“…..it’ll be a long, hungry, wait if it doesn’t work, dear
It’s ‘Bula’ Not ‘Manuia’ Before You Drink Your Vailima
Our Samoa Breweries is now without a beer we should realistically call ‘Samoa Own.’
Our Vailima beer started off as brewed in Samoa but it’s not going to be the case anymore.
It’s going to be Samoa’s beer brewed in Fiji.
It’s business but will it take anything away from the taste or the pride for all those who boast about drinking their made at home beer?
Our Samoa Breweries will still be around but just to sell and distribute. Nothing to do with the ‘miracle’ of turning water into Vailima beer.’
“……alcoholics talk that way, dear
