The man who broke into the Police Station and stole a portion of the marijuana seized from the Faleatiu raid last month appeared in Supreme Court this week.
Pauli Lapana 55 is facing charges of unlawful entry when he broke into the Apia Police Station last month.
He was unrepresented, and prosecution Fuifui Ioane asked the court if the matter could be adjourned for two weeks so they could finalise charges.
The illegal plants were from a record haul seized earlier this month in a police raid that also included other illegal drugs like ice as well as guns and money.
Lapana is from the villages of Apia, Papauta and Malifa and he was intoxicated when he broke into the Police Station on early Sunday morning.
Lapana allegedly stole more than 20 marijuana plants wrapped in a tarpaulin.
“The training room was locked but he managed to get in from the back window and exited from the front door,” Newsline Samoa understands.
Lapana will return to court on the 16th of December for prosecution to finalise charges before he enters a plea.
