“Rethink, Recycle, Reuse – this is the heart of our Go Green initiative,” said Lauluto Rapi Vaai, BSP Samoa Acting Country Manager. “This initiative reflects the BSP Group’s dedication to advancing environmental stewardship, not only within our operations but also throughout the communities we serve, as we work collectively towards a more sustainable future.”
On Saturday, 30th November 2024, BSP Samoa once again demonstrated its leadership in environmental sustainability with the successful rollout of its annual Go Green Clean-Up.
BSP staff and their families teamed up with its community partners from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Labour, Lakapi Samoa, Samoa Touch Rugby Incorporated, the Samoa Cancer Society, and the Samoa Ports Authority. Together, the diverse group worked tirelessly to clean public spaces, collect waste, and promote a cleaner, greener Samoa.
This year marks the 9th consecutive year that BSP has rolled out its Go Green initiative, implemented across all BSP markets in the Pacific. The initiative underscores BSP’s enduring commitment to environmental sustainability and its leadership in fostering community-driven solutions to environmental challenges.
Representatives from partner organizations commended BSP’s initiative, highlighting the importance of ongoing partnerships in environmental conservation efforts. The Go Green Clean-Up is part of BSP’s broader Go Green initiative, a reflection of its commitment to sustainability and preserving the environment for future generations.
