The only overturned result from the provisional count on Polling Day was at the Palauli 2 Electoral Constituency in Savaii.
Palauli 2 runner–up, Leota Laki Lamositele, has overturned the provisional results to win the seat for the Savaii electoral constituency.
Leota was declared the official winner after today’s final re-count to take over from fellow FAST party rival Tiatia Laulu Mapesone.
With the official count completed the next step would be the official declaration of the final results and a date to be announced for the first session of Parliament to elect a new Government for Samoa.
