Japan’s Emperor Naruhito 64th birthday celebrated in Samoa

The Japanese expatriate community and invited guests are officially celebrating in Apia today, Thursday 7 March 2023, the birthday of Japan’s Emperor Naruhito.
HE Mr. Keisuke Senta, Japan’s ambassador to Samoa, will host the happy occasion, which is a public holiday in Japan, at the Taumeasina Resort tonight.
The 64 year old Emperor Naruhito was born 23 February 1960 and is the 126th ruler to ascend Japan’s Chrysanthemum Throne.
Local dignitaries are expected to join the birthday celebrations.
