An added layer of new tar seal along Beach Rd is giving motorists a soft, smooth ride along the busy coastal front of the Apia township.
Full credit to our road contract workers, seen above, rolling out the new seal close to the Apia town clock to wrap up the end of work last week.
The noticeable luxury of gliding along the smooth road surface into town, is felt noticeably from the roundabout on the Matautu village side of the Vaisigano Bridge.
Pressure on better road maintenance in urban Apia is telling, in response to the burgeoning weight of new vehicles added practically every week, bearing down on the sealed surface.
Potholes of the past, especially during the rainy season, is a nightmare highly unlikely for the current volume of traffic to cope with if allowed to continue to date.
