A gathering of senior members of the Aiafi family took place this weekend in Perth, Australia, for the marriage of daughter and niece Melenaite Aiafi to Sione Tuionos.
Uncles and aunties attended from New Zealand and Samoa for the happy occasion.
The bride is the eldest daughter of Matafeo Tanielu and Siunipa Aiafi based in Australia.
Matafeo was Director of the Ministry of Education in Samoa before they moved to live in Australia.
Prominent Member of Parliament Lealailepule Rimoni Aiafi and wife Sharon traveled from Samoa for the wedding.
They were joined from New Zealand by Leota Dr. Lisi Aiafi-Petaia and husband solicitor Matafeo Atoa Petaia.
